I have observed many pet owners that have a pet with a behavior problem and most of the time they don't have a clue how to resolve it. After performing some research about pet behaviors, I have discovered several successful methods to-address the situations. Most of the time, I have noticed it's not even the animals fault. Usually, the solutions are not life altering, but it requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Clicker training is the most successful method that pet owners can use to resolve pet behavior issues.
Take cats for instance, like most animals they are very territorial and you must adjust to their needs. So, before you decide to get a cat and share your home with it. You have to realize that you really do have to share the home with your new pet. First and foremost, it is important to-purchase some cat furniture. This way you-establish that your pet has his own space and they won't destroy your furniture. Depending on your cat will-determine what type of furniture you will need. Cats are either "bush dwellers" or "tree dwellers" and its common sense to figure out which one.
If your cat is a "tree dweller", than you must-purchase clouds-cat-shelves that you can install on your walls. This will give the cat a high viewpoint of his domain and satisfy his territorial issues. It's just as easy if the cat is a "bush dweller", with this option you can create a customized bed/platform that will blend in with your home's decor.
Some pet owners have issues with their cats spraying all over their home and it is very tedious to clean-up after. This also has to do with territorial-ism by marking their territory, especially if you have not had them spade yet. If you have, than it is imperative that you-preserve a clean litter box. Most of the time it is something just as simple as cleanliness, for your tidy cat.
Another very serious common problem is if you are adding a newborn baby to your family and you have a crazy cat causing-additional stress to the situation. This can-be very scary, so you want to make certain that you nip the issue in the-butt very immediately. One solution is to make sure you do not neglect your cat because juggling both can-be very challenging. However, just playing with the cat for 5 to 10 minutes daily will wear him out and most importantly it is redirecting his abundant energy. Most important never reward a misbehaved cat with rewards, than you are just asking for trouble.
In conclusion, most pet owners understand their pets very well and with a little creativity it can help resolve the situations much easier. Remember, your pet reacts to every action you display and they feed off of the negative energy you are-omitting. Therefore, if you fear the cat than of-course he is going to react off of that fear. Always remember to stay in a positive mood, especially when you are having issues with your pets.
