5s Training Packages – Lead Your Ways To Success
Join 1000's of Authors at StreetArticles Today!

At the core of any Kaizen processes implementation are the five most important principles – the 5 S’s (referred to as 5S), which stands for Standardize, Sort, Straighten, Sweep, and Sustain. Those five elements comprise what lean processes are all about – simplification and cleaning of your current manufacturing processes for the purpose of achieving a sustainable degree of efficiency.

Enna’s 5S Training packages contain all of the tools and instructions that you will need in order to educate your staff about 5S, and start streamlining your production, right away. Rather than sit through a training where you just watch a video or read a pamphlet, Enna’s training courses are meant to teach fundamental concepts and also allow you the chance to try out the concepts as you go. Your team will have the chance to demo shop floor activities as part of the course so that the methods are being shown in the videos can be implemented immediately, with guidance, allowing your entire organization, from employees to customers, to immediately benefit.

These training courses are also designed so that you can fit them into your own schedule, with as little disruption to your current operations as possible. The training materials are broken up into modules that you can go over with your staff either one at a time, or all at once. 5S training is a great team-building exercise for your staff, as well. Implementation of these processes is dependent on buy-in from all of your employees, and experiencing the training in groups will help your employees learn to depend on each other, and work cooperatively toward the common goal of streamlining the way you do business so that everyone has the same understandings. Plus, all of the training materials are reusable. They are yours to keep, and to return to as often as you deem necessary.

Each package comes with a facilitator guide, participant workbook, preparation guide, 5S forms to be sued to evaluate your operations, posters to act as visual reminders of the concepts you’ll be learning, and tags for identifying trouble spots in your production, or process progression.

To help you along the way with whatever other training your staff and management team might need, Enna offers individualized consulting services where our trained Lean processes consultants will work directly with your staff to help coach you through lean processes adaptation. The experts will be able to help you identify your company’s profile, from where you are, to where you want to be, and how to get there using lean methods. Our Lean consulting service will also lead you on a tailored trip to Japan to see firsthand how lean processes work when they are successfully implemented. These once-in-a-lifetime trips will help your management teams to fully understand how Kaizen works, and the value of its implementation.

After your training is complete, our consultants will continue to be available to work with you to maintain your relationships with the Japanese companies you visit on your tours, and to help you with executing your Kaizen methodologies for years to come.
