Chief executive John Holland-Kaye said in a letter to the Prime Minister: "To give you and your government an opportunity to make the right decision, we have acted now"
He added that expanding the airport would "create more jobs for thousands of Britons."
Indeed, the expansion would open the door for more players in the airport parking industry which will make it easy to get Heathrow airport park and ride discounts, especially in the early days after the expansion.
