What is the Tourist Season In Florence

The tourist season in Florence never ends. This famous Italian city of arts is visited in all periods of the year, as people are attracted by the beauty and monuments of the Tuscan capital.

The number of tourists in Florence is not always the same. Winter is less attractive to visitors to spend their holidays in Italy. But then, the presence of students, people who come to study, work and deepen their knowledge of art increases.

Nevertheless, when less tourists are in town, Florence can show its best side. The streets and squares of the old towns are accessible for exploring further afield. During winter, it is much easier to visit famous museums without waiting long queues.

What is more, Florence is much more livable during the winter season. Everyone feels immersed in the real Florence. Then this city flourishes people with unique sensations, that provide the feeling of living in another epoch.

But the situation changes radically in the summer. Daily tourist arrivals increase the number of visitors exponentially, museums and places of great artistic interest become crowded with tourists from all around the world. Some tourists come to Florence to spend a whole week, while others spend only a few days, in addition to these there are always organized tours that provide only one day of visit for big groups of people and then they leave the city for other beautiful Italian places.

In order to see all the sights and monuments of Florence much longer periods than a week are needed. Having a limited period of time.many guides try to focus the Florence tour on different and diverse monuments and places of Florence, helping to calm the atmosphere of animation that can be seen during the summer in the streets and squares of Florence.

Even dining places such as bars, restaurants and trattorias are filled with visitors who stop at every hour during day for breaks between tours. Everyone must taste typical Tuscan food and drink excellent Tuscan wine from the vineyards of hills around Florence.

Summer days in Florence are very long and full of things to do, even the hilly areas around the city are occupied with tourists in search of the best panoramic views. Among them very popular spot is Michelangelo square from where you can enjoy a complete panoramic view of this stunning Italian city.

Walking the hills of Florence you can admire palaces and castles from various periods, these buildings have hosted important figures of the past who have bequeathed to Florence these prestigious buildings.
