Closets are the second thing in every house that speaks of your elegance and importance. It harbors your true appearance which is the first impression you will make out there even before you talk. You want to be able to find what you need quickly for a special occasion or perhaps to attend a business meeting in order to close the deal. Yes, your appearance will be the first to speak and when you are wanted in that part, it will often counter every word that comes from your mouth. To organize your closet, take everything out of your closet and put them on your bed. And when I say everything I mean everything! You should have a completely empty closet. Clean your closet (vacuum, mop, whatever you need to do to get it clean).

Sort out your clothes and group like items together. Your shoes should be placed with shoes, belts with belts, tops with tops, trousers with trousers, etc. To create uniqueness and encourage easy accesses to these groups, you can further group them in colors; belts of similar colors together, sheets of similar colors together, shoes with similar colors together, etc. If you are a kind of person that likes fashion and showcasing new dresses you can further group them according to the age, say new dresses, new trousers, unique designs etc.

In most cases many women like to wear different clothing everyday of the week. You can further group your items dividing them through the seven days of the week, like Monday wears, Tuesday wears, Wednesday wears, etc. each day you already know where to go and collect a clothing material for that day. Every weekend you should bring them out and re-sort to suit the activities of the coming week.

Your items might be so large that they may be difficulty to fit into a single closet. Consider investing in additional storage. Not all clothes require hangers; bulky clothing like sweats and sweaters should be stored in bins, use plastic bins with lids for your off-season clothing or those that doesn’t fold cleanly and effectively. Investing in these will add to the capacity of your closet and help improve the benefits you can get from your closet organization exercise. You can also label the bins accordingly and keep them in places they can be reached easily, preferably near to the closet. Organize your closet today.
