This may seem like a strange title but it is the truth, if you throw a big party at home be sure that the next few days will be occupied with cleaning. All of us have made parties when we were teenagers and none of them hasn't finished tragically. Broken glasses, torn curtains, spills, ruined upholstery and carpets, vomit etc. Fortunately there are some easy tips which can help you avoid most of the damage around the house and reduce the time spend on cleaning.
Tips Before The Party
First and most important choose the people you're going to invite carefully and make sure they don't bring someone who you don't know. Once I made the stupid mistake to neglect some of the people my friends bring up and the result was really unpleasant. They made my parents home a complete mess and broke a few souvenirs which were a gift to may parents and had sentimental value. In order to avoid any braking I suggest you hide the expensive and valuable things.
Place them I a cupboard with a lock if you have one, better choose a room which will be off limits and place everything there. That way you'll be a hundred percent sure no harm will come to them, I recommend you choose your parents room. Next thong you have to do is remove the carpets and rugs form the rooms where the party will be to avoid spills on them. Of course it won't be appropriate to lace plastic covering on the furniture so you can't really protect them.
As for the glasses and plates there is only one solution which will help you avoid the purchase of new set. Go for plastic ones, that way you won't bother with washing them – fast and easy. Enough with the preparations and precautions you don't want to spoil the evening thinking about what might happen. Let's move forward to the next day when you get up with a headache and see the results of the party.
The Cleaning Afterwords
Before you do anything get yourself a cup of coffee and prepare for the hard work that is waiting for you. Next get shower to completely wake up and energize, wake up your best friend and start cleaning. The best method is to do one room at a time, divide it into quadrants and make sure you have enough plastic bags to remove cups and bottles. Do this with every room and than you'll see if there is any damage.
Since you have removed the textile flooring (if possible) all you need to do is get a bucket fill it with water, add just a few drops of cleaning solution and get to work. The hard floor doesn't take much time to be cleaned so in about half an hour the whole please should be sparkling clean. If for some reason you weren't been able to remove the carpets and there are stains better hire professional cleaning company.
It will be much safer tor the flooring and you can be sure there will be no stains on the carpet. I have used the services of a cleaning company multiple times and I’m really impressed with the results. Moreover they use green solutions which is great for the environment and my health, not to mention all the time and efforts you'll save.
