Schticky Reviews - A Closer Look At The Schticky Lint Roller

It wasn't long after seeing the Schticky lint roller commercial that I went on a search for detailed Schticky reviews. But after searching around for a bit, I realized that Schticky reviews were incredibly hard to find. Most of this can probably be attributed to the fact that this product was so new.

Well, I have put together this brief review so that you can get an honest perspective on whether this product works. First I will talk about what this product is ideally used for. Then I talk about a few drawbacks with using it. Finally, I will point you towards other places for Schticky reviews and where to get the best deal on this product.

Why Buy The Schticky Lint Roller?

Although there are many uses for the Schticky lint roller, the two most common ones are for removing lint and removing pet hair.

The Schticky supposedly works better than those disposable lint rollers you get at the drug store. It is very sticky when dry, and can pick lint out of clothing with just one swipe. Since it comes in a small version too, it is quite portable, and you can take it with you when travelling.

As many pet owners know, getting rid of pet hair from clothing/furniture is a constant struggle. The Schticky is supposedly one of the best way to remove pet hair from your home. Since the set comes in all different sizes, you can take many approaches to remove pet hair. The extender on the Big Schticky even allows you to get into hard to reach place like under the bed.

But this product apparently picks out so much more than just lint and pet hair. Rolling it across your carpet will supposedly get rid of dust and dirt particles you can't get rid of with the vacuum.

But of course all things cannot be proven without testing - which brings us to the next section of this Schticky review.

How Well Does It Work? Pros and Cons

For the most part, the Schticky works as advertised. It is just as sticky as the company claims. Removing pet hair from a couch is as simply as rolling it along the cushions, thus collecting any pet hair in its path.

The lint function works similarly as well. So in terms of effectiveness, this product gets 4.5 stars.

The only drawback (which the company doesn't mention) is that you have to constantly make sure the roller is clean. It is so effective at picking up particles that it fills up quickly. This means that you will have to pay several trips to the sink to clean it off.

Mind you, several recent Schticky reviews have already highlighted some effective ways around this minor problem.

Conclusion

So is the Schticky lint roller right for you?

Well, if you're like me, and you enjoy living in a clean house, then you will most certainly get a benefit out of using this handy cleaning gadget. These benefits are only maximized if you own a pet. Just be aware that the cleaning process is a little bit more involved than the company suggests in its infomercial.

Right now the company is making a special offer on the Schticky lint roller. They are throwing in the bonus big Schticky when you buy the first two. Luckily, the first two only cost $20, so getting the whole set won't require a huge monetary investment.

There was a pre-existing version of the product. I had a regular and mini roller 15 years ago; my father still has his roller that was even older. His was marketed as a record cleaner for store owners and still works to this day. They were a gel and foam like material, not a silicone, yet rinsed under the water like this product. I lost mine while moving so it was great to see it re-released.

Well Jordan5, I used this same website, and I was only charged 7.95 for the shipping, the exact amount that was stated (3 separate times). It clearly states the price for shipping, so I dont see why you are complaining about this. Perhaps you should have been paying more attention!

Beware the website(s). They do not give you a price total for items and shipping & handling before placing your order. The moment you put your credit card info and hit "Order now" on the front page, your order is placed for $33.85. Sham, bam, bamina. Same thing happens for the "Sticky Buddy" clone website.
