Actually you might do have bed bugs without knowing, there are thousands of houses do and they don't know about it as bed bugs likes to live in dark hidden places and they go out in the dim light only, that's why they are called bed bugs because they are active in bedtime.

Bed bugs are brown, oval, and flat creatures that can fit in really tight and tiny places. They don't have wings to fly but they JUMP, so they can transfer from place to another without being noticed. People get bed bugs when they travel and move to a room that has bed bugs in it and they jump into your travelling bag and stay with you until you reach home, you can also have it from motels, frames, breakfasters', or even friends that have bedbugs in their rooms. There is a very popular incident when a guy transferred bed bugs to 50 young ladies in university hostels and they didn't know how they got it until searching the guy's room.

Bed bugs are very ancient and there are factors that help them survive like their ability to survive for whole 18 months without having a meal, they can live alone or in groups and they also are very productive. The one bug can actually produce up to 500 bugs per year.

As we all know, bed bugs feed from our blood, they go out in the dark, bite us, and suck our blood. You can know that you were bitten by a bed bug when you find that there are three close bites like a small triangle. If you do, try to remove the sheets and look under the mattress ar in the back of your bed, in frames, and doors as well. They leave blood marks in the place they live in, so you can easily recognize their presence.

In case you find bed bugs, you probably need to consult an experienced person to help you get rid out of them. They will be able to find them all in all places and remove them from your house.

If you don't, then you need to know more about protection ways. First of all when you travel, don't put your bag directly on the bed, just put them near the door. Also try to check the back of your mattress, bed, and frames. When you go home back, wash or dry clean all your clothes at a high degree and expose your bag to a high degree as well to make sure that you get rid of any bug that might have jumped in you luggage.

At home, you should think before buying mattresses, beds, and wooden frames from a secondhand store. It is also preferred to put a mattress cover to protect it from catching bed bugs.
