But knowing the symptoms of colon cancer and discovering it early enough, is a big possibility that cure can be obtained and continue to live a healthy and a cancer free life.

Symptoms of colon cancer are not obvious in the beginning. You will only feel tired (fatigue), weight loss and sometimes there’s blood in your stool. But you will not really notice it unless it has grown to a bigger and larger size or it becomes too dangerous. The nearer the tumor is to your anus, the more you will have obvious bowel symptoms. The bleeding will be unceasing. At this point of time, seeking a medical advice from a doctor or even a specialist should be obtained as soon as possible!

On the right side of our abdomen lies the cecum and ascending colon. If you have colon cancer, this particular area will bleed and it will show red blood in your stool and other symptoms of colon cancer will be present like constant fatigue, anemia, weight loss and may even feel abdominal cramps.

Unhealthy diet and stressful lifestyle contribute to having a colon cancer. The risk of having cancer nowadays is growing rapidly. Colorectal or colon cancer will take many, many years to develop. But if you are experiencing the symptoms of colon cancer and you really think you have it, don’t take long or do not be complacent about it. Also, do not be afraid or panic, ask your medical doctor and discuss with him. It would be best if you will go through many laboratory tests, ultrasound, etc. Colonoscopy is one of the tests that detects the colon cancer. Your doctor will be able to see the inside of your entire rectum and colon and should be able to see if there’s any abnormalities. Prevention or treatment should be secure right away!

The discovery of the symptoms of colon cancer cannot be neglected but it should be treated right away.
