Can My Relationship Be Saved?

Communication is the key to a lasting relationship. When there is what seems to be irreversible conflict, you tend to ask yourself "Can My Relationship Be Saved? A perfect relationship that will last for ever is what we all desire. Don't we all hope to take that magic carpet ride and be happy ever after?... but does such a situation really exist?

Every relationship is tested from time to time, confrontations and problems will arise, and we need to be prepared for it if we want to be able to save a seemingly doomed relationship.

If a couple is going to last it can usually be determined in the first few months of a relationship. This is when you are on your best behavior, and you work on situations that may arise, wade in the water to determine how deep it is and if this is the right person for you.

This is the time that you decide what your needs are and if you are willing to compromise should something come up that is not your ideal or preference. Are you willing to readily accept the situation for the sake of the relationship? In most cases it is determined in the early stages of the relationship, if the couple is truly compatible and if the relationship will last.

When these conflicts arise from time to time and you may feel things are not working out the way they should. This can lead to frustration, and you may start to feel the bond separating that was once held so strong. There is a fear that because of the frustration and anger that the relationship may be slipping away.

Are you willing to try to save the relationship, and put back the pieces that have scattered? Of course you would if you thought the relationship could be saved. You do not want to lose someone you love and cherish, so you struggle to find a way to patch things up.

After a destructive tsunami in the relationship it may be hard to accomplish this. Pride and anger get in the way and sometimes you tend to forget how much the relationship means to you. It takes two to mend the problems in a relationship. Both need to be willing to compromise, and give the other the benefit of the doubt.

Taking time to realize and accept the things that you may have wrongfully done and weigh out the situation, is the first step to making a better situation for the both of you. Your partner may need to have some time and a little space to figure things out, and that is just way okay, allowing this can only make things stronger due to the fact that with time they can get in tune with their real feelings.

There are a lot of choices as to how you can save your relationship, no matter what plan of action you decide to take, both of you need to make a conscious effort to make things work. Choose a plan of action, accept the things that you’ve done wrong and start making things better, for the sake of your love and prove your devotion.

Communication is the golden key that opens the door to be able to save a dying relationship. Letting your partner know what you want, and be open to their wants and desires, will help make your partner feel that you are in it for the long haul. Let them know you are willing to compromise and give anything to save your relationship.

If the relationship is meant to be all of this can be relatively easy, if you have it in your heart and you are driven by the genuine desire to be with the one you love.
