The iPad has had an enormous success. Even the pope has used it. I am not kidding, you can google this and find an article (and a video on this). It seems people of all ages are using it and a lot of people that aren´t tech savvy have purchased it. It is like so much of what apple sells, user-friendly. However, there are a lot things on the iPad that aren´t obvious for everyone but can be learned with proper instuctions.
In fact if someone really wanted to get the most out of there investment, there is a video course of a hundred training sessions that teaches you everything you need to know about the iPad. In this article I hope to get you started on a few things you might not know. So here are my iPad instructions to help you learn a few things. Here are my three tips:
iPad instructions. Tip #1: How do I hide the keyboard that is on my screen?
If you look to the very bottom on the right side of the keyboard there is a button (it actually looks like a keyboard). If you tap it, the keyboard will hide. Alo, if you find it difficult to use this keyboard there is a wireless one that you can buy that can be used for your iPad. It´s not too expensive and it is pretty cool.
iPad instructions. Tip #2: How do I change my email signature (the message that appears at the end of each email I send)?
I get from time to time an email and at the bottom I get a message that says 'sent from my iPad.' My cousin sent me an email a few weeks and through his email, I realized he had purchased an iPad. Now you may or may not want people to know this or you may not care. But you can put whatever you want at the bottom of your email. Here's how:
1. Go to 'Settings'
2. You'll see on the left column something that says, 'mail, calendar, contacts' You'll want to tap on that.
3. And lastly you will tap on 'signature.' Here you type in whatever you want to appear at the bottom of your emails.
iPad instructions. Tip #3: Can I use a word processor on the iPad like I do on my computer?
Yes. You can. You´ll need to buy an application called Pages ($9.99). You´ll buy the one that was developed for the iPad. With Pages for iPad you will be able to open and edit documents on your iPad.
I hope these iPad instructions have been helpful for you. There is obviously a lot to learn on the iPad. If you want to make the most of your investment I would get further trained with the iPad video lessons.
