Over half of all men do not do this after they break up with their girlfriend. Can you guess what it is? It has to do with Facebook. I heard this from the KOOL impossible question a few mornings a go. Still clueless? Here it is! They do not remove their girlfriend from their Facebook friends!
Now why would they do this? Or not do it? Seems a little cruel in that they may want to flaunt their new found "girlfriends" to their old flame. Would you do this to your ex? Would you keep her on Facebook just to prove that you're better than her? Would you let her suffer like this? Why would anybody want to add more pain and suffering to something that is already so hurtful.
The best way to mend the fences is to get back together with an ex girlfriend and leaving them as a friend on Facebook would only make sense if this is what you are going to do. Make every effort to get back with them, even using Facebook as the means to do this. But with a gentle spirit and with the best of intentions. All effort must be made to win her back and this can be done only if you are sure you want her back. You have to win her back!
It takes patience to woo and ex-lover back. Patience that may seem hard to come by but nevertheless it is something that must be found and exercised in order for you to see her face again.
Use Facebook to show yourself to her as someone who is a stand up kind of guy. Take her off your list of friends and only put her back on when you have made up. Do not show her off to the world as one of your trophies. This will only make things worse. Did you watch the movie, The Social Network, in which Mark Zuckerberg takes drastic measures to make a fool of a girl that dumps him? We men don't have the brains or resiliency to fight it out with women. They have the upper hand in that they are generally brighter and more gifted than their male counterparts. Also when it comes to winning the battles in a relationship, they have the full sympathy of not only the female persuasion but also many men who are sick and tired of others who continue to abuse and bully women.
No, you want to make sure your ex- girlfriend is respected and cared by what you say and by what you do, online or off-line. Treat her right. If she is not your friend, take her off your Facebook wall.
