Family Should Stick Together

It seems times are getting harder and harder. The rich keep getting richer, and the poor well they stay the same or get poorer. More and more families are having to come together and help each other out. Your family should always be the first ones you can depend on. They should never judge you, and should help out in any way they can.

Well really who am I kidding, for most people family is your worst enemy. This is very sad to me. It really amazes me how people brought up in the same home by the same two people can turn out so different. What makes someone turn on their own family? Sometimes it may be jealousy for one reason or another. I am the kind of person that I don't worry about what others have.

I do think to myself sometimes it makes no sense to have things you can't keep up or know how to work. Sometimes people just buy things to say look at what I got. People tell me I am very lucky to be an only child and to not have the worry of having brothers or sisters, well I did not feel that way until recently. I am glad I have a small family, less people to worry about and less people to worry about you.

In a family I feel like everyone should be given the same opportunities. But sometimes this does not happen. You may have had to help your family when you were old enough or even at a young age. This does not mean anyone owes you anything. Not your parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, or anyone else in your family. What you do for your family should make you feel good about yourself. There are so many things you may do that no one shows appreciation for. But you know you should appreciate yourself.

Your own self worth should come from you, not family, friends, spouse or anyone else. I know people who have abandoned their family and people who have been abandoned by their family. It is very hard to cut ties with family because they should be the ones you can always depend on. But it happens and no matter what your situation is have faith in yourself and know you can make it whether they are behind you or not. Your affirmation of self should come from you and no one else.

A family is a very important bond between people and should never be taken for granted. You should always be there for each other no matter what happens. There will be times when you don't always like each other but you should never stop loving and supporting each other. You can surround yourself with tons of people but no one can replace your family. Family should always stick together because they may be the only ones on your side when you need someone.
