If You Fight Like A Married Couple, Then Maybe It’s Meant To Be
Join 1000's of Authors at StreetArticles Today!

Woah! There it is again, both of you fighting over who’s right and who’s wrong, why didn’t you tell me and the water bill is due. These are just some simple reasons why couples fight, but in the mist of it all, if it’s real, they love each other to death.

Just like my brother in law said in his Facebook post, “If you fight like a married couple, talk like best friends, flirt like first loves, and protect each other like siblings, maybe it’s meant to be.” The only thing that can’t be included is crazy, yep, I agree.

However, to be frank, everyone have a little bit of craziness in them. Don’t even lie, you know darn well your crazy side slips out every now and then, that’s why you fight like a married couple. That’s what makes a real relationship real.

If you’ve never argued or had a terrible disagreement to where you just want to scream, leave, or even cry, then I’m sorry to tell you, but your relationship isn’t real, it’s phony. And you and your partner will never know how much you love each other, need each other, want to spend the rest of your lives with each other until this happens.

When you’ve been with that someone for years and ya’ll still flirt like ya’ll just met and talk like best friends, that means ya’ll have basically master the dating status. Now, when each other is protected by one another, then it’s definitely time to step it up a notch and get married.

Marriage may sound like a lot of crazy words right now, but why would you be afraid? If you fight like a married couple, talk like best friends, flirt like first loves, and protect each other like siblings, then you have no choice but to already know it’s a wrap and you’re in to stay. Don’t you want to make it official?

If money is the issue, then that’s another story, but don’t act like saving up is not important if you truly want to. I know some people say that you don’t have to get married to know that you are meant for each other. That’s true, but it’s every woman’s dream to get married and have a wedding of their dream.

Final thoughts on the subject

So, you're fighting like married couples? If so, don’t think for just one second that it might be over. Fighting is part of every real relationship. Thinking otherwise will get you having doubt and that’s not what you want. Take it from me, fighting is good, as long as there is not hitting or calling the cops.

This is interesting, I don't like disagreements, but hate avoidance of the problems as well; and have to face the disagreements. I love the realist's picture you painted in this article.

All couples work differently. Some seem to thrive on fighting (verbally only I hope). I have heard comments that "if they did not argue back then they did not care". Others are in perfect harmony. most are somewhere in between. Great article
