My Breakup Has Left Me Hurt And Confused – Help!

There are times when you see what's coming a long way off. The light is there. It's dim and at the far end of the tunnel but you know the ride is nearly at an end. There are other times though when the news that your ex wants to call things off just hits you out of nowhere and you're left seeing stars wondering where on earth things went wrong. This blind-siding hit to the heart is more common than anyone wants to admit and it is completely devastating. One day everything seems a-okay and then wham-o blammo, nothing will ever be the same again. It's going to take a little time for you to get your bearings back.

You will need a little time to find your center all over again but you can't let this keep you down and out. It's OK to hurt and to mourn for the relationship you've lost. What's not OK is for you t lock yourself away from the world while you try to figure out why your ex left and broke your heart. You want to know why things went down the way they did. That's understandable. Don't let it consume you though or it could make matters worse for you for a while to come.

Doing this now leaves you free to explore a few options that wouldn't have been available to you if you had gone the other route before. You may even be able to manage a second chance with your ex out of the deal if you play your cards right. How do you play your cards right at a time like this? By giving yourself a cooling off period where you have absolutely no contact with your ex. This means no phone calls, text messages, emails, voice mails, and workplace drive bys. If you want to get your ex back these are the rules you have to play by.

Now you keep the no contact period going strong until at least one month has passed AND you've come up with a solid plan of action designed to get the attention of your ex and win your ex back for good. Use the time you're apart to heal and build yourself up so that when you do come face to face with your ex you are ready to put your plan into place and not likely to have a moment of weakness. You need to be strong and determined and ready to fight to save your relationship if getting your ex back is important to you.
