How to Choose Your Beads
Basically what you'll be doing is creating dangle earrings so think about how you want this to look while you're in the bead store. You'll use the eye pin as the major part of your earring. You'll stack different sized beads on top of this eye pin. You may like the graduated look and try a 6 millimeter bead, a 4 millimeter crystal and a smaller bead. Then you'll be doing another dangle from the eye pin so it could be another 4 millimeter.
Assembling Your Earring
Take your eye pin and line up three beads on it according to your taste. keep in mind that the "eye" or rounded part of the eye pin will be the bottom of the earring. Once you have the three or four beads assembled on the eye pin. If you've purchased long eye pins you'll have to cut it down to about 1/2 inch within the end of where the beads come.
Once you've done that, take your round nose pliers and bend the end of the eye pin at a 90 degree angle. Then place your eye pin at the very end and roll it back towards the beads. Before it's completely closed put it through the hole on the end of your ear wire.
Next, place one bead on the head pin and repeat the process - cut the pin to within 1/2 inch. Bend it to a 90 degree angle and loop it back - attaching it to the end of the eye pin.
There you go - a great way to create a number earrings fast and easy. You'll never have to go hunting for the first earring again.
