1 tsp of fragrance (floral, vanilla, ginger, lemon etc.)

1. Before placing the soap scraps in the blended you want to cut them into smaller sizes. Blend them just enough to become the size of crumbs .

2. Put the soap crumbs, 1 Tbls of boiling water, 1 Tbls of oil into your bowl and stir. You might need to add another tablespoon of boiling water and vegetable oil if the crumbs look dry.

3. You now want to add your color and fragrance to the mixture. Depending on what you are using for fragrance you may need to add a bit to really get a good whiff and then stir it well.

4. Carefully pour soap mixture into your molds or baking pan. Place in a shaded area to cool.

5. Once it has cooled, but slightly soft, pop it out of the molds. You want to let them cure completely for at least 24 hours, preferably a couple of weeks for the best results.

You can customize you soap even more by adding things like fine ground oatmeal or seeds for more texture. Some people even add miniature embellishments for a unique look.
