Disney Wonder Cruise Review

Cruises are a great way for families to enjoy and all-inclusive getaway. There is so much stuff to do and experience. They are an excellent option for people wanting a getaway where they have little to nothing to worry about.

The staterooms

Recently, I was able to adventure with my family of six aboard the Disney Wonder. Due tour family size and budget, we stayed in two inside staterooms. Honestly, you spend so little time in your room that it is unnecessary to upgrade to a more expensive room. The inside staterooms were spacious (for a cruise cabin), and the kids were excited to see bath towels shaped like Disney characters. I was highly impressed with the decor and space provided in the inside staterooms.

Regarding dining options, all I can say is "Wow!" The food options are limitless and delicious. They had everything from pizza for my picky eaters to steak for our grown up tastes. There were three sit down restaurants, an adult only restaurant (extra fee and reservation required), a buffet and several quick service spots. My kids loved grabbing ice cream at Goofy's Galley and sitting on deck with the wind blowing. Also, your wait staff follows you throughout your cruise. Our waiter new my kids liked certain drinks and just how I like my steak. They interacted with the kids too. Our waiter would do magic tricks or tell jokes for the kids. It was sad on our last night because I had three kids crying. They didn't want our waiter to leave; he became like one of their friends.

Aboard the ship, there are so many things to do. If you wanted to relax by the pool, you could. However, it was hard to sit back knowing that there was so much I could do. They have a kids only section where children can play and meet characters. If you wish, you may even drop them off while you go have fun. They even have a teen hang out spot. For adults, they have a spa, bars, dancing, theaters shows, and special events while onboard.

While at port, you have an option of booking excursions. You could go shopping at the market, snorkeling, or deep sea fishing. We were never bored. I loved the feeling of having so many activities that I could do, but at any time I could go back on the ship to relax.

I would highly recommend a Disney cruise, especially if it is your first cruise. There is so much to do, and there is plenty for children, young or old. It will be money well-spent, trust me. My family has yet to stop talking about it, and they are begging me to book another Disney cruise soon.
