Kubota has just released another reliable heavy-duty Rugged Terrain Vehicle (RTV) to meet your need wherever you may be—in the woods, in your farm, or just in your workplace. Let us go for a short RTV400Ci “ride” to see what this new RTV has to offer.
Compact and dependable—that’s probably the best short way to describe Kubota’s latest and fifth RTV, the 2012 Kubota RTV400Ci.
The engine of this ATV is powered by gasoline. According to Kubota, the RTV is compact so it does not occupy a lot of space. This way, it can be easily transported.
At first glance, you may think the new RTV is an RTV500 and that’s because their chassis are actually not different. How then is RTV400Ci different from the other earlier-released Kubota RTV? It’s firstly the engine. The new RTV features a high-revving 16 horsepower four-cycle 404 cc gasoline engine that is cooled by air which gives enough power to meet Kubota’s tough performance specifications. The fuel capacity, by the way, is 5.2 gallons.
The engine is uses gasoline and it is placed through electronic fuel. This engine makes your ride more reliable and fun. It is power is great in taking your through the rugged and challenging terrains and different environment situations. This Kubota RTV also features awesome brake.
The new Kubota RTV also ensures your comfort and safety as a driver. To guarantee you a comfortable ride, it has easily accessible controls ensuring smooth operation. It also has a contoured bench seat and a low operator platform with sufficient leg room. For your safety, the new RTV has a Standard Rollover Protection System that meets the standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
The new RTV is available in two colors, Kubota Orange and Realtree Hardwoods Camouflage, and it has a retail price of $8, 499 which makes it more affordable than the RTV500. It comes either with ATV or HDWS turf tires. With ATV tires, it weighs a little bit lighter at 1,246 lbs (565 kg) as compared to 1,257 lbs (570 kg) with HDWS tires. Optional accessories include the following: front accessory box, canopy roof, windshields, headrest, turn-signal kit, and speedometer.
RTV400Ci has a loading capacity of 999 lb (453 kg) and a cargo box capacity of 441 lbs (200 kg). Its towing capacity is 1,102 lbs (500 kg). As to the other aspects or its dimension, it has a ground clearance of 8.1 inches at front axle and 6.9 inches at rear axle, wheelbase of 70.9 inches and turning radius of 22.4 feet.
Great side x side, I use it for hunting it's great in the woods ,I hunt rolling hills some pretty steep. it climbs very well. top speed 25 mph which is plenty fast. I wanted something dependable not fast.
