From Kymco Maxxer 375, they developed it into Kymco Maxxer 450i. While the last model was pretty awesome, this new model is even more powerful.
Kymco Maxxer 450i Features
The Engine Power
They still kept the chassis in this new model but they additionally installed a new engine that has four valves, four strokes, and is water cooled. The power of this new model is far more impressive compared to the previous model. Maxxer 450i’s engine is fuel-injected that runs neat enough when you warm it up. Its power output is also even stronger compared to 375. It is faster and its power delivery is so smooth.
The Transmission
Using the gated shifter, you can change your gear in Maxxer 450i’s high, low, reverse, and neutral transmissions. The overall settings are well and good though there’s a bit of a problem with its vent hose under its seat. This can cause wetting especially in those deep puddle trails.
Selectable Two and Four Wheels
There’s a button found in the right handle bar which you can press to switch between two and four wheel driving. This button is very helpful during the challenging terrains where you have to pass through both dry and muddy places. In switching to four wheel drive however, it makes it harder to control the steering wheel.
The Suspension System
Its suspension action is pretty smooth and fluid for small bumps. It’s just that there’s more shock in the front.
Stability Control
Maxxer 450i’s stability is very helpful during the challenging conditions. Its sway bar at the back together with the wheelbase is combined to handle the machine so well.
Dual Hydraulic Brakes
This machine is built with dual hydraulic brakes. The brakes are great though the rear brake pedal is a little bit too high. You have to lift your foot for you to be able to reach it. But all in all, the performance of those brakes is great and you can easily control them.
Built With A Great Design
Maxxer 450i is built with a nice looking design and it is suitable for any size of riders. It has metal footpegs as well as floorboards that can aid the rider when passing through the rough trails. The seat is also wide enough and it is flexible for normal and extreme rides.
Great Looking and Durable Wheels
It has aluminum wheels and sporty tires. Its wheels are also built with shiny rims that make the wheels really hot.
Though there might be few small issues, Maxxer 450i is still a wonderfull ATV that you can grab and use. This 4x4 offers many cool things that ATV riders can enjoy!
