What is Arise?
Arise is a well known work at home business. They are very legitimate, despite what others may say and think of it. They contract with many corporations. You are able to work from home and choose the days and times that you would like to work. Arise offers lots of training, guidance, and feedback.
Are you an employee or independent contractor?
Independent contractor.Everyone is required to incorporate. How ever, there is a way around that. You can work under someone else, who in turns pays all of your training fees... However, if you are your own corporation, you can write off those training fee, etc... at the end of the year. You are an independent contractor, so there is no insurance, or paid time off etc...
Do you pick Your Own Hours?
Yes, but there are some stipulations. With Arise, you have to work a certain amount of hours each week 15-20 is average. What ticks me off is that they have this requirement, and 9 times out of 10 there are not enough hours to go around. Also, in most cases, you have to work on the weekend. There may be a five hour weekend requirement, which you must comply with in order to keep your contract. Arise also has special schedule roll outs for people certain people (more like the top performers).
How is the Pay?
Depending on which company you work for within Arise, The pay is just okay when factoring in what other companies are paying and they are not charging you for the training. In many cases, they pay you. Arise pays anywhere from $8-$14 an hour. You can make more depending on what bonuses are being offered or certain programs. The pay can be per hour, or per talk minute, with base pay (minimum per hour).
I Have Tried Arise, and Would I do it Again? (With my bipolar answer lol)
It truly depends. Arise is good for those who don't have time to wait for a call back. Pay your money and your in! It's as simple as that. Now there is a background and credit check, so this is not one of those jobs for ex-cons or people who have filed bankruptcy (don't quote me on that because I can't be 100%. I'd still give it a try). Though you don't wait for a call back, you do have to sit through 3-5 weeks of unpaid training for 5days a week, 4 hours a day. I think that sucks because I just forked up $100-$400 and I have to sit in this class, hope I pass, and after I pass, Pray I like the job! Been there, done that. Twice to be exact.... Anyway, after the class, you start getting paid. No waiting on someone to look at your resume, there's no one making you kiss their you know what for a job that only has one position and 50 plus applicants!
I attempted to do Arise 3 times. The first two times, I paid my money, sat through the classes and hated what I was doing. So, I quit those 2 times. The 3rd time, I paid my money and then something better came along so I went with that. Anyway, Would I contract with Arise again? Yes, even though it's not my cup of tea, it's a great backup plan if you ask me!
So, Arise is a well known work at home business that contracts with independent corporations. You pick your own hours, the pay is just okay. Though Arise is not my favorite, I still love it, appreciate and I'd do it again. Arise is still a bunch of Blessings!!!!!
