Nightly riding outdoors in the evening is a challenging sport, an outdoor riding flashlight is essential, so how to choose such a flashlight?

It is summer now. It is the best time to do outdoor activities now, among which, cycling is a popular one. The riders can enjoy the scenery on the way during the day, and at night, they can also enjoy the night scene. If riding in the countryside, it is a perfect enjoyment to breathe the fresh air. You are not recommended to cycle during the day for the hot sunlight, but it is a good idea to ride at summer night. It is not only a good exercise but also a good way to relax you with cool and fresh air in the countryside.

As for cycling at night, a good flashlight is necessary. The flashlight should be bright enough, and burn a long time in case of run out the battery in the middle way. So, considering these points, choosing a good flashlight is quite important. Here are some tips.

1, Brightness. Nightly riding needs high brightness light to ensure the safety, so the flashlight you bought should be able to provide bright light. After all, you need to light up the road ahead you in addition to letting others see you at night. The cheaper flashlight may only be only able to make yourself noticeable, but not able to light up the surroundings or the road ahead you.

2, The flashlight’s focus should be adjustable. During riding at night, both spotlight and floodlight are important. At present, many flashlights can only provide spotlight, which has a bright spot in the center with weak light surrounding it. Such flashlights are good for outdoor searching, SOS, but not suitable for lighting, because the spot only can light up a small area, and contrasts sharply with the weak light around it. Eyes may be hurt in this condition for long.

3, Burn time. It would be terrible if the battery is run out in the middle way. So, do remember to choose the battery that can last long.

4, Portability. You’d better choose a lightweight, compact flashlight so that you can easily carry it and not be affected by it when riding at night.

5,Be hard for self-defense. As it is dangerous at night, especially in countryside, you can choose a defensive flashlight.

6. Waterproof performance. This is important, or else, the flashlight will not light in the rain. Now, the waterproof level for Tank007 flashlight is IPX-8, which means, the flashlight can work properly under 2m water.
