Getting ready for any date, let alone a first date, can be extremely nerve racking and stressful. Luckily, you have me here to guide you along the way and make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's. There's a lot of prep that goes into any date and unfortunately most of us don't even know where to start. If you follow these helpful hints I guarantee you that your date will notice and be very appreciative.

First thing you have to do is freshen yourself up. This doesn't mean just shower yourself, which I hope goes without saying, but it also means taking it that extra step or two. Remember, its the little things that matter. So, before showering to get ready make sure you have your clothes all picked out and ready to go. Meaning, everything is cleaned and ironed and ready to go.

After you have the attire all squared away then its time for the shower. Don't be afraid to take some extra time in there and do whatever manscaping you deem necessary, this definitely includes getting rid of that pesky back hair. Also you wanna be sure to get a nice close shave there's nothing a woman hates more then being brushed up against by the abrasive sand paper that you call stubble.

Now that you're so fresh and so clean you want to make sure that your house and room are equally as clean. This means clean sheets and a clean bathroom. One of the biggest turn offs for women is seeing a man's messy house and bathroom, and if you're lucky enough to have her back to your place you don't want to fumble the ball then due to your slob tendencies. Once you think everything is all clean do a quick check of the area and be sure to spray an air freshener on the house but especially the bathroom.

Now you're ready to head out, but don't go pick her up just yet. If any reservations were made for the evening you want to be sure to confirm those or else you could be left looking rather foolish when you arrive. After you confirm you're going to want to take your car over to o.e of those hand wash car washing spots. They usually do an excellent job for a very reasonable amount. You may even want to splurge and pay a little extra so they clean the interior also.

Now you're all set to go and pick up your lady. Or are you? One last thing is to stop at a convenience store or preferably a gas station so you can fill up. Be sure to get a full tank of gas, nothing is more cheesy and adolescent then running out of gas on a date. So get gas then head inside and pick up the essentials. This includes gum or mints, aspirin, chap stick, and condoms.

You want the gum or mints to be sure that your breath won't be kicking, this way your prepared for any make out sessions that might arise. The aspirin is in case you or her get a headache I know it might sound lame but trust me, if it happens you'll be thanking me. The chap stick is another preparatory item in case sparks fly and you end up sucking face all night. No woman wants to be kissing cracked, chapped lips so its essential you have it on you. It's also great cuz it can fit nicely in any pocket.

Last but not least is the condoms. This is kind of a touchy area, on the one hand you don't want to be caught without them. On the other hand she may be offended if you do, some women think if you have them on you that you assumed you were going to sleep with her. This is a very delicate and gray area. Women are very odd creatures at times so the best advice I can give you on this particular subject is use your own discretion.
