Step 1: Your Initial Consultation

The first step of your exciting journey involves an appointment with the specially trained dentist who will be performing your dental implant surgery! During this phase, you’ll also be establishing a relationship with your dental implant dentist and his or her team of administrative and medical staff. This builds comfort and trust, which will make all the difference on the day of your procedure, when you will more than likely feel a little nervous!

Also, if you have any questions at all, the treatment planning phase will be the ideal time to ask them. And remember to be thorough when explaining your medical history to your Colorado Springs dentist: don’t fail to mention any diseases or conditions you may have or medications you may be on, because ultimately, this could get in the way of your successful treatment.
