185 gm chopped dark chocolate
2 egg whites
1 tsp coffee
1/2 tsp cocoa powder
2 tsp Irish cream liquor
1/2 tbsp sugar
50 gm hung yogurt
Method:
Melt the pieces of chopped dark chocolate in a double boiler. Whisk the egg whites with sugar in a bowl. Mix coffee, cocoa powder and Irish cream liquor in a separate bowl and add this mixture to the melted chocolate. Now add hung curd to this mixture. Now pour the beaten egg mixture into this very slowly, one spoon at a time. Refrigerate this creamy mixture for a couple of hours and your mousse is done! Heavenly!
Fridge Cake:
A favourite among easy cake recipes, the fridge cake is the perfect example of a no-bake dessert.
Ingredients:
200g of chopped dried fruits
150ml orange juice
150g chopped dark chocolate
120g butter
1tbsp golden syrup
1 egg yolk
Method:
Melt the pieces of chopped dark chocolate in a double boiler. Heat the chopped dried fruits and the orange juice gently until the mixture turns pulpy. Beat the butter, syrup and egg in a large bowl. Now add the melted chocolate and the pulpy fruit mixture and beat it well. Evenly pour this mixture in a greased brownie tin and refrigerate for a few hours. Last step: enjoy your super easy fridge cake!
Coconut Barfi:

Ingredients:
4 cups of grated coconut
4 cups of sugar syrup
2 tbsp khoya
1 tbsp of blanched almonds
1 tsp ghee
Method:
Mix the grated cocounut, khoya and sugar syrup in a pan and roast it until it acquires a thick consistency. Now add the almonds. Brush ghee in a tray and evenly spread the halwa on it. Allow it cool and cut it out into barfi-like squares. Oh yes, it’s that simple!
