The smallest Indian state and also one of the most beautiful states Goa is very popular amongst the travelers not only from the country but also from outside it. The beaches and the culture and the music and the art and the people of Goa are the primary attractions. There are many ways to enjoy Goa really. If you’d like a peaceful and calm stay in Goa Candolim Beach is where you want to be. 15 kms from Panaji is the first Christian convert village, Candolim. It begins at Fort Angada merging with Calangute Beach. The main road, which is the Candolim Calangute is loaded with shops and restaurants. You can pick up typical goan souvenirs and have a taste of their cuisine. It isn’t travelling when you don’t bring back a local something with you and eat the food of that place is it? This village may lack in terms of resorts but there are fairly good inns which are very reasonable. The inns you may want to find in this village are “Sodders Gloria Anne Hotel”, “Valentines Beach Retreat”, “Coqueiral Holiday Home Resort”, “Don Hill Resort”, “Resort De Saudade”, “Sea shell Inn Resort”, “Villa Condolim Resort”, “Big Daddy’s Inn”, “Tropicano Beach Resort”, “Xaviers Beach Resort”.
A few kilometers from the famous and populated Calangute in North Goa, is Baga. Baga is merely an extension of Calangute. Baga is famous for its beach which the Baga beach for the shacks and fishing boats. Of course there are the water sports and the dolphin cruise too. Calangute, Baga’s neighbor is the largest beach in North Goa. Very happening during Christmas and New years and also you could have your summertime fun here. The monsoons however take a toll here. So, if you are visiting Goa not during the monsoons, Baga and Calangute have a lot of well priced places to stay in. One of the twelve Brahmin comunidades of Bardaze very well know for the St. Michael Church is Anjuna. There are three chapels in the parish. Praias, Mazalvaddo and Grand Chinvar. Beware of incidental skydivers landing here. This beach however doesn’t have much to offer apart from these. Brilliant place for bargains Anjuna is. However this is all that it has to offer clearly lacking sufficient decent places to stay in. But should you need to stay in Anjuna go find yourself “Don Jaoa Resort.
Another one of not much talked ab out beaches is Arpora. Apora is in the north of Goa. Here, you can find yourself an budget hotels in goa “Sodders Renton Manor Hotel” and “Hotel Mello Rosa”
