Top10 Things to Bring on Vacation | Vacation Checklist for Traveling

Packing for an overseas trip is a daunting task for anyone especially those of us new to the vacation scene, so keep a cool head, take a breather, and relax you'll find planning goes a long way for a fun-filled trip.

Proper Clothing - Take what you can the pure essentials, only bring articles of clothing according to the season, wear dark colors for formal events they can cover little smudges or wrinkles quite handy if you are in a pinch or late for the party.

Money Belt - An invaluable tool for the tourist at large in a foreign land, trust me I wouldn't want to spend my vacation looking over my back pocket checking for my wallet, Why would you?An inexpensive pouch to help protect your in valuables making a money belt a great tradeoff for any clever tourist.

First Aid Kit - You might not think bringing your own First Aid Kit is essential, but if your new to the vacation spot you might not know right away the location of a nearby clinic better safe then sorry.

Quick Drying Hand Towel - Towels in over priced hotel rooms are rare at times ( maybe because tourists take a little hotel souvenir with them :) so cheap hotels towels are there but I try to avoid them for hygiene issues never know for sure if they've been washed thoroughly..

Map - Don't swap hours of enjoying your vacation for hours of being lost and trying to find your way around to your vacation spot, don't be too proud to ask directions, swallow that pride and ask.

Lotion - Your skin will turn into a sun-dried raisin with wrinkles and all in no time with no means to revitalize the skin especially if your field trip is in the tropics or any other land where the sun beats down on you.

Camera - Take with you a high-resolution digital camera with you, keep in mind before heading out take a few pictures at home to make sure a) that it works and b) the picture quality is good for vacation pics.

Vitamins & Prescriptions - Take extra precaution to ensure all your medicines are in their original documented bottle and if not carry some form of documentation or the actual prescription to provide to customs, they will find undeclared medications and make your life all that harder.

Photocopies - Bring plenty of copies of all essential documentation you will need for the trip (Passports,Id cards, etc.) and store them hidden among your luggage in a spot only you and your family knows.

Travel Guide Book - Bring plenty of traveling information from experts you trust and researched before hand, be well prepared.

Keep this checklist in mind to start your vacation planning for the next vacation your planning don't bring anything that might hinder an enjoyable vacation from you & your family.
