If you have only ever thought about coffee as a drink, you might be surprised to know that it is also used effectively in a detoxification process. This doesn’t mean that if you drink five cups of coffee in a day you are detoxifying yourself. Instead, many people buy organic coffee for enemas, instead of for drinking. The process of a coffee enema removes toxins from the body and improves the way that the liver functions. By doing an enema, you are doing your body a favor, and it really isn’t as difficult to do as it sounds.
When people first hear of an enema, their reaction is somewhere along the lines of “you put coffee where?!” Certainly, the process is not one that most people are used to, and many people shy away from the concept of sticking coffee into their rear, long before they understand the reasons behind a coffee enema.
First things first, in essence a coffee enema does essentially involve inserting a solution of coffee and water into your rear and leaving this liquid there for a period of time. Ideally, you want to have the liquid in there for around fifteen minutes. As you can imagine, this isn’t easy for beginners to do, and it normally takes people a few times before they are able to hold the liquid for the required amount of time.
While that statement might sound a little disturbing there is one very important point. Many people go into a coffee enema very hesitantly, and are not certain whether they want to go through the process. However, most people who try the process are enthusiastic about it, or at least, about its outcome. It can make you feel more peaceful and make you feel much more healthy than you did previously.
Coffee enemas are so effective because they provide you with a way of clearing out your system that you cannot do with normal approaches. When you consider the amount of additives and chemicals that we consume every day in our food you will see why this process is so important.
One of the most important things to remember is to use organic coffee for enemas. Some people mistakenly think that you can use any type of coffee for an enema. Because you are trying to clear out the toxins in your body, you have to make sure that the coffee you are using does not add any more toxins into your system! It's not a requirement, and you will not DIE from using non-organic coffee, but it doesn't make much sense to NOT use it. Doing a DIY detox should be done as clean as possible, including using an enema kit and brewing equipment with non-toxic materials, as well as, of course, ORGANIC coffee.
