Natural Herbal Liver Cleanse - My Story

In March of 2010, I found out just how important a clean and healthy liver really is. I became bedridden that month. I went to lay down and I couldn't get back up. My heart felt like it was going to pop trying to pump my blood through. I was breathing hard to fight for oxygen. The nerves and muscles in my face were clenching, seizing up, and were very sore. My head felt like it was being pulled back into the pillow like when your head gets pulled back into the seat of a roller coaster. When I tried to get up to go to the bathroom, I started to black out and ended up back on the floor. Something was seriously wrong.

The next day my aunt and my cousin helped load me into the car and took me to go see my general physician. After telling him my symptoms, he gave me a blank stare and said he had no idea what was going on. I asked if he could run some blood tests, instead I got a shot of Imitrex for migraines. I left scared and a bit hopeless. I had to try something else if I wanted to get better. I remembered a friend telling of an acupuncturist who discovered his brain tumor. I called him for the acupuncturist's contact info and quickly made an appointment.

On my first visit Leslie(the acupuncturist) listened to my story and symptoms. She was a bit puzzled at first as well, but then she asked for my wrists. She felt my pulse in different areas of my wrists for several minutes. She then immediately asked me to stick out my tongue. "Whew!" she exclaimed, "Your liver is stressed bad!". She noticed I was confused and pulled out a small mirror. She told me to have a look. My whole tongue was coated thick, solid white. I couldn't believe how covered my tongue was.

For the next few weeks I went in for treatment and took an herbal formula to help get my liver back in shape. I went from having trouble even moving my head, to being able to take short walks outside and being able to be somewhat active again. Although I still had to find out what made my liver so bad in the first place, I gained a significant chunk of my health back.

I then found a Naturopathic practitioner who used applied kinesiology to give me some answers. Over the next year I fought through a viral infection, fungemia, and parasites. Through all of it, I used a natural herbal liver cleanse formula to keep my liver well and functioning, especially with all the dead pathogens it had to get rid of. I am still working with the same practitioner today and I about 85% recovered and able to work again.

If you feel like you are ready to clean out your body, the liver is a great place to start. Find a Holistic health practitioner who you can trust to help. You don't need to go extreme to get a good liver detox. Start with small steps and take the little victories along the way.
