Reverse Diabetes Naturally

Many people suffer from juvenile diabetes and adult onset diabetes. Doctors are quick to prescribe the standard treatment of insulin, however is that really the best treatment? Insulin is not a cure. You will not address the underlying issue and get better. Insulin will help your body function better, but you will remain dependent on it.

Remember that the body has an amazing ability to cure itself. When you get a cold, your body fights off the infection. When you get cut, it repairs itself. Giving your body the proper nutrition that it needs will assist your body the way that it needs in order to repair itself. The unfortunate things is that many doctors perpetuate the notion that diabetes is incurable. I have met many diabetes who are resigned to the idea that their pancreas is so damaged that they will be dependent on insulin for the rest of their lives and complications are inevitable. My sister is one of them.

There are people who have been able to successfully reverse diabetes naturally. My neighbor has been able to reverse his complications and control his blood sugar. In order to reverse diabetes naturally, you must have a lot of discipline. Put your health first and the sugar and cravings for processed foods second. You will also need to spend a little more time cooking whole foods, but life without diabetic complications is worth it.

If you have juvenile diabetes, an autoimmune disease, I would recommend doing a candida cleanse. Candida may not be the cause of your diabetes, but it is a suspect of many autoimmune diseases and can create a lot of problems in your body. Getting rid of the candida may be the cure that you were searching for and doing a cleanse will rid your body of it.

After you have completed a candida cleanse, read books on diabetes. There are lots of people who have had success controlling their diabetes blood sugars with a low glycemic index diet. My favorite author outlines the steps that you should follow in order to gain complete blood sugar control. A neighbor of mine followed the low glycemic index diet to control his diabetes and lost fifty pounds and eliminated all of his diabetes symptoms. He continues to follow the diet because of the energy that it gives him.

I personally tried the low glycemic index diet that many books are recommending and felt amazing. I had more energy and I felt that my life was in more balance. Although I didn't need to reverse diabetes naturally, I tried the diet as a preventative measure. It makes sense to simply not spike your blood sugar levels with a high amount of carbohydrates.
