Can You Reverse Low Platelets For Good?

Low Platelet Count can be caused by several different things. In this article we will be mostly talking to those who suffer from a disorder called ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura) but the principles apply even to those with low counts for other reasons.

What separates ITP sufferers from others who have low platelet count is the fact that it is an autoimmune disorder. This means that the body is attacking and destroying it's own platelets. On the other hand if you have low platelets for some other reason like because you are taking medications that deplete platelets or suffering blood loss due to an accident or some other reason recovery is much easier because your body is not destroying it's own platelets. Stopping the medications or the bleeding will produce the desired results.

Things are much more difficult for ITP however. But, glad to say, not impossible. It will take a concerted effort however. One that will call for you to take responsibility or be "proactive" for your health. I would like to say up front that if you are looking for a "cure" for ITP, you won't find one neither from this article or from the medical community. One hasn't been discovered yet. There is no pill or secret formula to take that cures ITP.

With that said you can increase your platelets to safe levels and keep them there. This is called "healing" , being healthy again. This is something that is not offered by standard medical treatments for ITP sufferers. There are only a hand full of treatments used and they are more "short term" orientated. This is because many times it is an emergency situation and drastic measures are needed to save a life. Past that doctors will observe and watch your platelet counts to be sure they don't drop below "safe" levels.

So what is involved in "healing" and can it reverse your low platelet count?

"Healing" is when a person suffering from a specific disease or condition takes charge of his or her body and health. This will mean searching for answers and doing what needs to be done to make progress. This will include finding habits that need to be eliminated, leveraging herbs, vitamins, diet, life-style, and other natural therapies. Actively looking for restoration. Discovering the laws of health that rule your body and obeying them.

Can this reverse your Low Platelet Count? Absolutely! But effort will be required. You will have to obtain the healing of your own body, something you don't have at the moment as far as your platelets are concerned. You will still need to be under doctors care but as you make progress you will be less dependent on the medical treatments and their nasty side effects.

Research and educating yourself is the key and of course we can't forget "taking action." No one will do this for you, not even your doctor. Only you can have the motivation to make this happen. Proven all natural methods combined with good common sense can be found in a publication written by a doctor who has delt with lupus all his life called Conqure Low Platelets. I implore you to take the time to read it. You will be glad you did.
