Proper research by the medics and the scientists have shown that blood pressure can temporarily arise from stress, exercise and emotions ranging from joy to anger .Patients are therefore advised to avoid such situations since this disorder can lead to very serious conditions including heart attack, stroke kidney problems, diabetes and many other health problems. The western diet is known to have a lot to do with high blood pressure. A diet high in fiber is an excellent way of controlling high blood pressure. Dehydration increases the risk of hypertension and drinking a lot of water is therefore advisable.

Other natural remedies for high blood pressure include lowering salt intake which goes hand in hand increase in potassium consumption. Good sources of potassium include apples, asparagus, cabbages, tomatoes and bananas. During the advance stages of pregnancy, women sometimes suffer from high blood pressure, swelling in the legs and feet and sometimes presence of albumin in their urine. Because of this condition in pregnancy strong drugs shouldn't be administered to them because after delivery their blood pressure comes back to normal. At this stage pregnant women should try the natural remedies for blood pressure since they can really work well for them and it is a temporary condition. High blood pressure is a serious condition and this measures should'nt be taken lightly.
