What is Fibromyalgia

In the past few years we have been bombarded with so much information on health care and personal development like never before.

I want to share my knowledge of what fibromyalgia is and what it is and is not and how we can address this issue.

What is fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is widespread body pain that is felt in the joints, muscles, skin and other soft tissues of the body. This pain is for most, dilapidating and keeps people from enjoying their lives to the fullest.

More and more studies have been made personally about fibromyalgia in the past few weeks and I have made some pretty interesting discoveries.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder,

There is no real definition of what fibromyalgia is. If I had to define it, I would say it is," the accumulation of other problems in the body and the body reaction to them."

Its hard to say what those are because it’s an accumulative thing. If I can give you an example I know of some people who have some stress in their lives. And this stress can manifest itself in other ways.

When you see someone with extreme acne for example most of the time the acne isn’t because the face is dirty. I am willing to bet it’s something external that the person is experiencing and it is manifesting itself externally on their body.

Fibromyalgia is not a thing but I guess it needed a cool name. What else would you call it?

What causes fibromyalgia?

Perhaps you could call it the not enough sleep stressed out mind too much on the go with not enough down time in the day to rest properly disease. If you can keep it simple like that then we have a better understanding on how to treat it.

Being a hypnotist and understanding the way the mind and body work as a system, It’s my firm belief that fibromyalgia can be eradicated without medications that may cause many of the harmful side effects.

The first thing I have found in my research is that the first thing you need is sleep. Getting plenty of proper rest is one of the greatest things you can do for your body. We all know what a great nights sleep can do.

Not only rest but the amount of information that the brain can process is staggering. during the day we as people have to deal with so many external things that influence us in many different ways. Using our five senses the brain can be easilly overloaded.

When your watching television, reading a book, or just relaxing. you may not be aware of the car driving by, the dog barking, or the neighbor mowing the lawn. These bits of information are called message units. Messages that enter your brain through your senses.

You recieve about 2,000,000 of these message units a day, however you can only process about 2,000.

Fibromyalgia can manifest itself because your brain cannot process that much information. It is said that what the brain cant handle goes into the mind. What the mind cant handle goes into the body.

So when dealing with fibromyalgia it, in my opinion, is best to help with clarity of thought by removing the stress of message units the mind is trying to process.

One thing I can say about that is you can grow a brain, organs, tissues, blood, vessels, all the systems of the body ready to go without any help externally.

Doctors now suspect fibromyalgia has some genetic cause. This, in my opinion, cannot be true at all.

The reason I say this is because fibromyalgia is not like a broken bone. Anything that happens inside the human body has many components to it. Fibromyalgia is generally misdiagnosed and looking for a genetic link is not the best course to take for a cure.

We really need to look for the causes of fibromyalgia and all the possibilities to find a cure. And I do believe there is a cure.

In order for you to understand what I am talking about I am going to paraphrase from an article i read on the disorder.

What we do know about fibromyalgia is that there is no known cause. We can call it the phantom disease.

Many factors can bring on fibromyalgia such as stress and lack of sleep.

What it sounds like is that its main cause is not what’s going on inside the body. the causes are external.

There is no doubt in my mind that the external world we live in has a great impact on what we feel on the inside. How we process information is crucial in our well being, and in all our social interactions.

The mind is a complex organ which we really have yet so much to discover. The process by which we feel things and how it can manifest itself in the body are some of the things being studied today.

Just to look back in history let’s say 100 years ago. Most of the mental issues we have now never existed. Seems the more we talk about them the more we seem to get these issues.

In the case of fibromyalgia, the causes are unknown. What does that mean? We know the body has a defense mechanism against bacteria, diseases, and viruses. When you get food poisoning you know it.

When you get a cold you know it. We know how to get a cold. We can prevent ourselves from getting a cold. It does not seem to matter what we always get colds. We always, doctors included, say “it must be the season”.

I really don’t want to get too off topic here but isn’t it funny how you never see an East Indian with a cold. I believe the secret is in their diet. Mexican people as well. The food is always hot and spicy and the common cold cannot survive extreme temperatures. This is why when we are sick we get a fever.

Maybe we can learn something from this. Who knows but for now we will continue to do what it is we do.

The bottom line is there is not one root thing that causes fibromyalgia to present itself and we all have the mental capacity to bring on the symptoms. This would mean, if we can figure out what is causing us not to sleep at night. What is causing us to feel stressed out during the day?

If we knew that, it would mean, we can eradicate this in one person at a time?

How do we do that? A hypnotist can use age regression therapy to help the client find the root causes of the anxiety.

We can also use hypnosis to help the client sleep by relieving the pain in the body and by creating a wonderful experience for them.

We know that sleep can be the biggest benefit to our mental health. And we know a happy and healthy brain also means a happy and healthy body.

Research is being done to try to understand how the body feels pain. How the nervous system works, from the receptors in the skin to the spinal cord and to the brain

In my opinion if you have pain from fibromyalgia, I would have to believe that the spinal cord and the brain are working perfectly, perhaps too well.

If this is true then I can also say that something else is wrong and would rather look at what is causing the stress and causing people not to sleep.

How do you know you have fibromyalgia?

According to what has been learned so far leads me to believe, you don’t. We do know fibromyalgia is painful. And it affects the young and the old. We may never know what single thing causes it because there are so many factors that could be contributors.

Everyone reacts to pain in different degrees however we cannot say that what one person has fibromyalgia and the other does not. We are more than likely satisfied that we can call it something so that we can have that.

Its my personal goal to help the medical community find better ways to deal with this sort of thing one person at a time. I am always looking for volunteers to see if we can at least deal with the pain using hypnosis by fully removing some of the other symptoms of fibromyalgia brought on by some of the medications prescribed today.

How can we treat fibromyalgia?

So far there is no real treatment for fibromyalgia since the causes are so varied when everyone perceives it as something different. Some of the more common treatments are getting plenty of rest. eating healthier and getting more exercise.

I think the main thing is to avoid stressful situations. Most of the pressures in these times will in fact cause ab reactions in the body as i have illustrated.
