Do ever get tired of spending more time looking for woodworking patterns than you do actually woodworking? Working with wood is a wonderful hobby. It is relaxing and enjoyable and many people have crafted their skill well enough that they can even make a full time living off of it. They can not do so because they are creative or ca somehow find enough plans on Google that they always have something refreshing to build. Professionals always have plans and patterns on standby by. Something they can use at a moments notice. When a customer is expecting that drawer to be done by the end of the week, you should be able to have it done by the end of the week.
Meeting deadlines for clients and even loved ones doesn't mean taking your time by drawing things out or just going with the flow and seeing what your "creative juices" come up with. Creative building is a great exercise that any woodworker should practice, but it is not OK when somebody is expecting something great out of you. In that case you need structure. You need something that has all the woodworking patterns you could ever possibly use and in an easily organized form.
Not only do you need a go to source with thousands of patterns that cover just about ever request but you need simple instructions for the days when you just need to get things done. A lot of plans on the internet are badly put together and can sometimes leave you abandoning your project midstream. There is nothing more frustrating that having to give up a project just because the instructions din't make any sense. It is helpful to be able to have clean and clear step by step instructions that help you through the entire process without a bit of stress.
I found a resource that has all of this the other day and I could not be happier. I used to find myself spending days going through the internet and the library just to figure out what I was going to do next and like this it was impossible to make any money out of this hobby. Now that I found something that has over 16,000 woodworking plans and projects that are perfectly organized I don't have to worry about that. With the instructions being as crisp and clear as they are I can always just jump right in to a new project. I'm ecstatic that this hobby now pays for its own materials.
