Relationships Between Man And Women – Dogs And Man?

Man and Women, are their relationships the same as Dogs and Man?

Man loves women, well most of us anyway, man loves dogs, just in a different way. This goes both ways, women to men and women to dogs. Why then, is it said in so many homes, by the women? “You love that dog more than me!” I have the answer, dogs return love differently to women. It's not that we love dogs more, we merely love them in another way.

Home from work, weary and tired, shoes off socks off, tossed to one side. Does the dog complain about the odour emanating from the discarded items, or the fact they were not placed in a certain area? No, this seen by them as a possible game, “Can we chew on that? Please... please.... please. Those socks stink, but I will tear them up.” The game begins, a tug-of-war, who will win? Nobody, the wife will enter and articulate the pros and cons of damage to the socks, or shoes, “What are they doing lying around here anyway? You know I hate it when you do this, put them away where they belong!” The difference between man, women and dog.

Are you accused of infidelity when staying out late by your dog? No, he loves to see you arrive home, so much so, he makes it known to all inhabitants of the house. Barking and jumping, knocking over table lamps, the more you "shush" him, the more excited he becomes. He never inquires where you've been or why your late, he's just glad to see you. The bedroom light goes on, the wife appears, baseball bat in hand, “Where have you been? Do you know how late it is? Why did you not phone? Your supper's in the fridge, ice-cold. Do you expect me to heat it up for you? Were you with that girl from the office again? Thinks she's better than every one else! Alone with her I suppose?” Questions, statements, intermingle at such a speed that the Gatling gun of old would have trouble keeping up. Then the statement to end all thoughts of sleep. “I think you are having an affair with her!” Ever heard that from a dog?

A man messes on the carpet in the heat of the game on TV, the wife will complain bitterly, it needs immediate cleaning. A dog, no problem “I'll clean that up for you!”

A wife expects a conversation at the end of the day, men not so, “give me the remote, there's a good film on tonight”, crack a beer, Julia Roberts on the box. The dog, “he's going to snack, that's when I'll get him, a quick beg and sit in front of the TV, he'll feed me!”

The dog, feed him twice a day and give his head a rub, he's happy. The wife, no way. She wants to shop, “where's your wallet?” your dog, never asks for money, never expects flowers or chocolates, that's wrong, the dog always wants chocolates, but only if you are eating them. You see, there is a different love and understanding between a dog and his master, and the man and the women. Doe's he love his dog more than his wife? No, never, have you ever heard of a dog making food? Rubbing his masters back? Or looking after him when he has fits of illness?

No dog can replace a women, she smells better, looks good in clothes, for that matter looks good without clothes, baths regularly, kisses better and when in a good mood, is the best thing that could happen to a man.

Never fear, women of earth, no dog could ever replace you, and no, we do not love our dogs more than you.

Our dogs are more tolerant of our shortcomings and we theirs. Dogs seem to always live in the now, past and future doesn't matter to them, living for the moment and if it involves play time or treats all the better. BTW, chocolate is not good for dogs.

Hi Johnney our dogs are special, so are our wives, a tongue in cheek article you see my wife reads everything I write so I like to pull her leg now and then.

I was getting worried for you Rob. Sounded like the dog was going to win in the popularity stakes but you managed to save yourself in the last 2 paragraphs. By the way you can tell your wife you love the remote because it's female: It easily gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying

Thanks Heather, now I know why the remote is always in my hand.

Sometimes we feel the same way. Our dogs give us more attention than our husbands and we don't have to cook, they will eat most anything.

Not wrong there Tracy, the boat rocks both ways, if we only gave our spouses what we give our dogs, what great relationships we would have. I must say I try with my wife and she tries with me, but sometimes the dog is the winner.

Definitely two different relationships. Dogs just don't stay mad as long. So, who is man's best friend? Who should I give the tweet to? You or the dog. LOL.

Give the tweet to the dog Rodney.
