Have you been pulling your hair out trying to get a stop dog chewing zone in your home?

Do you have the fear of getting a new dog thinking that they will chew up everything in your home?

This is one of the dog training topics that's covered in obedience training.

Don't take it personally and think your dog has a evil plot against you.Begin by asking a few questions to get to the root of the problem.

Like what destructive behavior is he displaying? Also does he act out this behavior during any repeated time of the day? Or when did they really begin this behavior to the point of getting out of control?

Is he a repeat offender of this behavior and during what times are they taken place because that could mean many things according to dogs.

Taken in consideration of putting all this information together will help you recreate the crime scene like CSI which will help you find the motive.Just like the show, there is always a motive or reason for his negative action.

“The Why” is what you want to find out ASAP before your dog carves you out a new design in your drywall!

Maybe there has been some changes in your home that's giving them reasons to act out this negative behavior like a new baby, new activities happening outside the house, when you leave them alone in the home, and God forbid you bring home a new dog and they feel the need to compete for your love and attention.

These lovable four legged family members have a mind and they tend to use it a lot like us humans.

Understand that they might be bored and chewing on items just like we eat when we are bored.

They also could be acting out negatively being home alone with no family member(human) activity.

As you can see there could be any number of reasons to set your four legged family member off in this direction.

Solution to stop dog chewing: communicate with them that your human toys are off limits.

Begin with getting all valuable items out of their reach

I am not suggesting that you perform spring cleaning on your home but like Mama used to say "everything has a place"

Last but not least, leave your dog some of their favorite chew toys, that's why they "begged you for them.

So the problem, Stop dog chewing up everything like a termite and help your dog change obedience problem but to do it in a "Compassion For The Canine" way.
