It's one of the most amazing experiences of your life - after nine months of excitement tinged with worry you finally become a parent. But how long will it take before you discover screaming in toddlers is a common trait that most newbie parents forget is just around the corner.
The happy-go-lucky child that you had been raising and adoring the last two years suddenly turns into one of the biggest headaches you've ever encountered. There is absolutely nothing angelic about a screaming two year old - take my word for it. When your child approaches the age of two years I'm afraid you might well experience the frontier of tantrums and screaming in toddlers.
You can only hope that it does not arrive when your on a plane or train or even worse your local store. There's nothing worse than having your child preform when every other child in the store ( including your friends children ) is well behaved and content. This negative behavior in children can be extremely hard on parents especially if they do not see it coming. There are many examples of screaming in toddlers and there are many ways to solve these problems. Take the example from earlier on when the child plays up in a shop.
This can be caused by the child wanting a particular treat and you saying 'no' as it is unhealthy for the child. This will trigger the tears and when you refuse a second time then the tantrums really begin. How many parents out there will actually end up buying the item just to shut up the kid and stop everyone looking at the situation you are failing to handle. This is completely the wrong thing to do as the child will register that it has been given a reward for it's horrible, unreasonable behavior. Screaming in toddlers is not to be rewarded - in any situation. Temper tantrums can be caused by many different types of things: Your child may be really tired and is playing up because of this.
If you have been on the move for most of the day without any time to stop for lunch etc. then your child may well be hungry, hunger can play a big part in the creation of temper tantrums. Tantrums in children are a natural trait and if handled correctly can be quickly sorted out. Screaming in toddlers is not pleasant but do not worry, most parents have been through it at some point and have come out the other side.
