Ear wax problem is something that is normally encountered on every sex and age group on human beings. The ear wax itself is a natural substance with oily nature that is normally produced by glands on the ear canal entrance. The ear wax is naturally produced to protect and – no not to serve – to lubricate your ears so you are less prone to the probability of getting ear infection out of bacteria and other things that could get into your ear. The skin inside our ear canals as other part of skins on our body would naturally grow and in this case would grow outwards and thus lead to a natural movement of wax excretion out of the ear in form of crusts or dry skin. There are however people with abnormal production of ear wax that is triggered by various things that causes too much wax in the ear.
The condition of too much was in the ear can be caused by numerous events. As human beings, we seem to have different type of ear wax production level as it is affected by our lifestyle, what we eat, where we live, our age, our skin condition, our mental condition and the last but not least the unique anatomy of our ear canal. One may have excessive production of wax in one’s ear because one is simply of a mature age, or because one consumes too much fat in one’s diet. Other condition can also trigger too much wax in the ear conditions such as excessive wax removal attempts, non-conducive environment and bacterial stimulation.
This leads us to the question of the necessity of ear wax cleaning. Many sources stated that waxes that are produced by healthy ears are not needed to be cleaned as it is normal for your ears to have wax. The statement of course contradicts itself when that particular source said that healthy ears with ear wax would need cleaning when the ear wax causes dulled hearings because of too much wax in the ear. I would personally say that having dulled hearing means your ears are not healthy.
It is only logical to clean your ears regularly to prevent such things from happening and not wait until it causes itchiness or discomfort. To be sure whether you need to get your ears cleaned or not – if you are the kind of person who needs expert advice before doing anything – when you feel such sensations, you can go to a doctor where the nurse would examine you using the otoscope. This is much like a wormlike flashlight that the doctor can use to see the inside of your ears.
Too much wax in the ear is related to many negative ear conditions. Tinnitus for example has long thought to be connected to this condition. It is never really scientifically proved however that tinnitus is related to this condition although anxiety and tinnitus are very much intertwined and anxiety is also one of the triggering conditions of too much wax in the ear.
