How do you feel about RETAIL? Working in a department store or a specialty store appeals to a lot of people in the workforce. Sometimes it's by choice and at other times the reason is a lack of jobs available in other venues. As we face tough job situations, lack of opportunities across the world, it has spawned many home based business start-ups.
One thing we know about retail is that most employees are working for minimum wages and long hours. In order to be available to the buying or browsing public requires a flexible hours daily schedule. Regular hours are hard to come by for anyone who works in the retail trades. Many employees work weekends, night shifts, early start times and everything between. It's the "retail" way of life for all but a few old-timers.
What's your reason for being a part of the retail workforce? Do you have to work? Is money, an income, important to your personal survival? Usually, that's the case for most of us or we'd spend time with friends, playing games, going to movies and living the "good" life without worry. All you need is a "sugar daddy" with the cash or a big inheritance to sustain you and your family.
Most of us dream about having unlimited funds to live a luxury lifestyle. What's your list look like? A beautiful new home, a second home in the mountains and a condo at the beach? New luxury cars, at least 3 or 4? New home on the lake, too?
Not much more really, maybe a beautiful speed boat, 2 or 3 Jet Ski runners, a few more diamonds, some of the latest fads in stylish clothing. Obviously, cruising the world to exotic ports is always part of the plan. Country Club memberships so we can eat out in style and play a few rounds of golf at our leisure.
However, to avoid looking selfish or too greedy, we need to add a few charities, the church, a mission trip or two we plan to finance for the youth group in the future. Probably adding an orphan or two to give financial aid each month is a good idea, too..
Winning the lottery, the education lottery fund or Publishers Clearing House should do the trick. Recently, the latest PCH winners are being promised $1 million annually for life. Reality follows.....
Earning a retail commission or salary is not the usual course to take when a luxury lifestyle is your goal. YOU have to learn and study what others are doing to exceed limited income levels. Average incomes usually fits the average person living in modest surroundings.
What do we suggest? Absolutely, a home based business driven through Internet Marketing. If you need helpful guidance and expertise, the WAU or Wealthy Affiliate University website is the place we go for the latest in training and expertise shared by thousands of WAU members across the world.
