There are many directions for the entrepreneur to take his/her home based business. You can concentrate on eCommerce sales through affiliate products offered at clickbank or other sources you discover. Billions of dollars have been paid to merchants who sell their products through the clickbank marketplace. Obviously, a real testimony for eCommerce sales and the future possibilities are for you, too.
Electronic downloads have some very attractive benefits to the affiliate marketer as well as to the product owner. Revenue income sharing is just one piece of the puzzle. Usually, 50% minimum up to 75% of the total revenue is paid to the affiliate marketer.
Yes, I hear you asking.... why would the product owner give away most of the revenue from sales? Good question with some valuable answers for your future decisions. Unfortunately, many affiliate marketers have no idea, in the beginning, that the NAME and eMail address have far more value than a one time profit on a sale.
Many people simply send their prospects directly to the sales page of the product owner. Let's assume that 2% of the suspects turn into buyers. Do you see the loss to the affiliate marketer? Absolutely! 98% of the traffic you sent to the product owner will not buy on their 1st visit and you'll earn nothing.
How should you change the dynamics of the process? First, NEVER send your prospects [traffic] directly to any product owner. Set up your own blog and/or your own "squeeze page" where you invite people to subscribe to your newsletter, give them a free gift, etc. For most of us it takes 5 to 7 times exposure to your sales effort before we take the plunge, the next step, and become a buyer. Trust and believability comes first.
Think about the original idea vs setting up your own system. Let's assume over time that you attract hundreds, even thousands of subscribers who want your newsletter because...... there needs to be a reason that anyone desires your newsletter, right? Common interest? Hobbies? Group? Focus?
Our home based business focuses on the Plan B for financial security through Internet Marketing. Obviously, we need to make a little money to pay expenses and you may too. Some Internet Marketers make a lot of money over time because they understand the necessity of building trust, fairness, honesty and a life of integrity.
Making a lot of money, serving a large subscriber base, is simply good business. Ask the question.... what do home business owners need? 1. Training 2. Autoresponder 3. Traffic 4. Products ... etc. Golf is another huge group but your choice should be about something you LOVE to do, write about, etc.
Maybe "how to" begin, set up your business, find traffic, write your newsletter and more. Few of us have all the answers, it's a team effort to learn the insider methods and systems that work all the time. We focus our effort on writing articles, having a quality blog and giving away our best to friends and subscribers who want to know what we have learned in the SHK [School of Hard Knocks!]
