Don’t know what to do with the excess paint that is left after painting your house? It would be wise not to throw it away as it could come in handy if you need to paint over scratches and other damages on the wall whenever required. Most leftover paints end up in garage or the attic. But storing paints in such areas with extreme temperature can make the paints unusable and destroy its properties. For this reason, the leftovers from the high quality paints of purchased in Nepal should be stored in cool and dry places.

Extreme temperatures tend to destroy the consistency of the paint and eventually what’s left is a harmful waste which need immediate disposal before it can bring any health hazard to the home owner. If you have excess of attractive wall paints left in Nepal, it’s wise to store it in a temperature controlled area where there’s no excess moisture. Storing paint cans on concrete floor is not wise because the cans will rust and when opening the cans, the rusts get in the paint.

Before storing the excess paints, be sure to use plastic between the lid and the can to ensure airtight seal. If you want to achieve the best wall painting in Nepal by applying the excess paints, the first thing to do is to store those excess paints correctly. After you’ve successfully stored the paints, the second phase is to understand how to use the leftover paint. Before applying the excess paints, take a look at the paints after opening the lid of the can. If the paint have skin formation on top remove the skin and the rest is usable.

If the paints you wished to store have gone bad and are unusable, please ensure hand them over to the local recycling outlet.However, maintaining the beauty and preserving the authenticity is a challenge given the ever growing population and urbanization in cities.
