This cover is still a great cover if you don't really care much about the hand strap as it will still benefit you with the stand and also protect your kindle.

There is also the Kindle Fire Leather Cover MicroShell that is also made from a very sturdy leather and is even cheaper then the above 2 mentioned. However this one does not have the hand strap and the stand isn't quite the same as the Marware version. This stand works great for propping it up for movie watching, but if you are wanting to put it straight for reading purposes then you may wanna be careful as it is likely to fall over very easy.

There are also covers that are basically strictly for style like the Verso Artist Series or the Verso Prologue. These covers have a very classy and unique style to them. They don't have the stand, but are pretty fancy looking and will still do the most important part of a Leather Cover, protect it!
