It is unbelieveable that the kindle fire is sold out as of today (thursday)! If you have one you are one of those who took action on getting it early. Some people must of put it off to the end of the year to get one. Well they are all gone as of now from amazon. You may get lucky to get more in stock in a couple of months.

So how long have the kindle fire been around anyway? It has been only nine months since they have been on amazon! Wow! Only nine months! You maybe guessing how many were there? I assure I am too! Many things sell out but new things sells faster, but will always be around. The kindle is very popular and people were hoping to get one by christmas. While been sold out it accounted for 22 percent of the United States tablet sells.

This as you can see is a big year for the kindle fire. There are milions of people out there that has the kindle. A million people that has brought it already sounds crazy. Amazon did it big since the launch. They have been selling the kindle fire until they sold their last one in stock. This just shows how big of an impact this device has on people today.

Lets look at some numbers quickly: Amazon sold a total of 6.7 million of the kindle fire tablets. In the fourth quarter of 2011, it sold a solid 4.8 million. In the first quarter of 2012, it sold 700,00. In the second quarter of 2012, it sold 1.2 million. From those quarters it adds up to 6.7 million kindle fire units sold. Although some say it is not that high, but I think it around 6 million.

So now the question arises like the dark knight, what is going to happen now? Will the kindle keep producing? Well I think more is on the way. So big relief for everyone! Whew! Now that is out the way what is really coming our way? Is it The Kindle Fire 2? Any comments on that?

That would be great though! I like new technology, it just gets better and better. The kindle fire is just showing off with those huge numbers and all. We all knew ti was gone sell like crazy. We just did not know it would sell out in months.
