Samsung have recently brought out the Samsung 8000 series which is a team of Samsung 8000 led Smart TVs in a variety of (large) screen sizes, but they also comes with a relatively large price tag. In this article we will have a look at a few of the comments that consumers have given this product and you can decide for yourself if it is really worth the money. But first let's have a quick look at a few of the features of the Samsung ES8000 and see why this TV is all the rage at the moment.
The Samsung 8000 series is the latest in Smart TV technology to brought out by Samsung in 2012. The TVs are all made with LED (light emitting diode) screens that are said to produce a better picture and also cost a lot less than conventional LCD displays. All the TVs in Samsung 8000 series are also super-slim at only 1.2 inches thick.
What is A Smart TV?
The Samsung 8000 series is only one of the new styles of Smart TVs that are being introduced around the world. A Smart TV is basically a television with Internet capabilities.
But Samsung has taken a few steps further and added in gesture, profile and voice recognition. The inclusion of a HD camera at the top of the screen allows users to use Skype and also interact with the TV similar to a MS Kinect.
There are a multitude of applications such as Facebook, twitter and YouTube available for download and users can also plug into Samsung signature services which will allow them to share photos and post messages to each others mobile devices.
Currently at the time of writing there have been some of the smaller sizes (46, 55 and 60 inch) released and the price tags have been well up into the thousands, but are these Samsung 8000 led TVs really worth the money.
There are many review sites with customer feedback already up online for the Samsung ES8000 series and the customer feedback online regarding these TVs has been rather mixed, but this is to be expected of a new product that has just hit the market.
Of course there have been a few software problems which have already been ironed out with automatic updates and the reviewers who have had some problems with the actual Samsung 8000 led TV itself have commented on the very high level of service that they have received from customer support.
But again is it worth the cash?
Well if you are in the market for a new TV and you have the money - it could well be a very worthwhile consideration but one thing is for sure - with the Samsung 8000 series - the way we look at home entertainment will never be the same again.
Thanks for a peek into the world of television! Didn't realize they've gotten so interesting.
