Into the trash bin already? How about the "spam" folder? Change happens but few of us know if any of our messages are connecting on the Internet. Some say that email marketing is dead or basically useless in connecting with your subscribers, even your buyers seem lost on your autoresponder.
Send out a fabulous message, good copy with an awesome product but nothing happens. No orders are coming across the cash lines and you are puzzled without any explanation as to why. How can this be happening to an Internet Marketer like yourself?
Frustrating to say the least. Did Google, Bing or Yahoo make some changes and failed to tell you? Even Techies are challenged to figure out the problems that often throw a BIG monkey wrench into the Internet Marketing business. However, you can get caught up in the chaos and waste a lot of time for nothing.
Keep your email messages flowing, stay in touch with your subscribers and particularly your customers. Sudden change is not a good idea when your email friends expect to hear from you. Ask for feedback or run a survey to learn what you can do to help in these trying times. Everyone will not respond so don't expect too much. Many of your subscribers are quietly listening but don't care for interacting.
Some of us are extraverts and have something to say about everything while there are introverts, too. Sure, the introverts have lots to say also but hold their tongue. Sometimes it's out of fear, not wanting to look dumb or stupid, maybe missing rejection by the masses. However, we are whom we are. Nothing ventured, nothing gained does not compute for the introvert. Outspoken extraverts simply don't care, let the chips fall wherever.
Why keep sending out your email messages? Back and I'm talking "way back" in the dark ages when my firm did mail-order, the "talk" was about getting a 2% "return" or response with an order. Today, the Internet Marketer says, on "average", that your mailing list is worth $1 [per subscriber] per month income with good products you offer as available and interesting for your subscribers. What's the truth? Only testing or sending out emails to your list has the real answer.
My reaction is to celebrate your good fortune if you're hitting the "average" returns of $1 per month, per subscriber. However, every Internet Marketer continually tweeks her email copy skills to improve dollar returns on every email message. Most have a "control" offer or send out an A/B split mailing to their buyers list as well as their subscribers only list [non-buyers todate].
You can learn the "how to" systems that others use to build a valuable resource for income. No one has all the answers but somewhere along the journey it's up to your own actions. Don't wait for perfection or you'll never begin your Internet Marketing business. Simply make a few goofs, get up, go again. You will be on your way to joining the living and successful Internet Marketers.
