Two Sides Of Micro Inverters And String Inverters

The inverter is designed to convert DC to AC electrical equipment. However DC is subject to the power generated by the solar panel, the AC power is standard operating electrical equipment required.

Install two key types of inverters and pv inverter manufacturers for solar power generation system are: string inverter and micro-inverter string inverters. A string inverter is an inverter for the most common types of photovoltaic arrays. It is a separate unit, which is connected to one or more of the 'string' of the solar module. All panels are connected together - a combination of output of the solar arrays - which is fed to an inverter, which then converts it to AC and DC power is fed to the grid. Most of the string inverter has 95% efficiency or higher.

String inverters only one inverter, the solar power system cost than having a plurality of micro-inverter low - especially those with large systems.

Comprehensive monitoring string inverters with inverter display face. Micro-inverter needs and performance of each inverter and the monitor separate communication frame of communication. String inverter is a mature technology, proven reliability, and micro-inverter is a relatively new development and reliability has not yet been confirmed.

Micro-inverter installed in the back of a small array of solar modules for each inverter. The rated output of a single module of each inverter micrometer. They convert the DC to the AC of the roof, and to feed power to the grid.

The inverter is a solar power system failure is the most common point. Many higher chance of introducing micro-inverter component failure. Replacing a single central string inverters than replace components of a rooftop solar micro-inverter behind easier.

As the back of the roof micro-inverter is mounted on the panel, they are exposed to the solar cell module according to the elements and heat. Inverter performance and life may be affected by these conditions.

Micro-inverter system is more flexible because the string configuration is not required. Each panel is independent, therefore, the installation of a single module may be placed in different orientations. From the performance when there is a loss of output of the whole array panel is not affected. Micro-inverter system is generally considered more secure installation, because there is no high-voltage DC power supply. If the individual micro-inverter fails, the remaining part of the solar cell array continues to produce electricity.
