Solutions to Wind Power at Home

As we all know there is an increasing demand for more power in the global market. Now very soon we are going to take steps to decrease our power consumption or find ways of developing renewable power. We are very concious of the consumption or power and water in the home enviornment. We can find ways to produce cost effective and pollution free power for our homes wind and solar power solutions are two ways we can produce pollution free and cost effective power.

These two solutions wind and sun energy can fight power outages, reduce or eliminate energy bills and also fight environment pollution.

In this article I am going to try and explain how you can employ cost effective wind power solutions in your home.

Wind power will work best when you have the following conditions at your disposal:

1. If you have a house or residence on a piece of property of one acre or more. Wind power works best when you have a large spread of land.

2. You need to be situsted in an aqrea where the wind speeds are eleven miles per hour or more. If you are in an area where there is not much wind your windmill will not turn fast enough to produce the energy that is required to develope electricity. If you ar not sure if the right amout of wind is available in your are you may have to get an expert to check it out for you.

3. If you need to pump water on your farm a wind mill will be a very good way to do this.

4. If yoy need power that in not interupted by power failures a wind power system is a good solution. It is also a polution free solution.

In order to have a wind powered system you will need the following components:

You will need a tower: The hight of the tower will depend on how high you will havve to go to get a good wind power. You may need a high tower if you are in a low wind zone. You will need a shorter tower if you are in a high wind zone. Your wind mill will be able to operate your electricial appliances. If you have storage batteries you canstore power for future use. Today windmills are being made more efficient then they use to be.

Make power at home with homemade windmills and homemade solar panels to reduce or eliminate your power bill.
