Whenever it feels like things are too difficult, remind yourself that they aren’t difficult; your perception is that they are difficult!
When you feel intimidated by something, it means that you don’t know exactly what this thing is about.
Not being very clear on a certain thing or idea or goal makes it look complicated.
As long as during your education process you weren’t exposed to business matters and no one taught you what it means to be an entrepreneur, it is normal to be scared by the idea of starting your own business.
Remember that everything you get know becomes easy.
Be open to learning about business and to reading about successful entrepreneurs’ stories and you’ll start to approach this subject differently.
Starting a business is a process and like any other process it has a purpose and some sequential steps to take.
There are some business principles to learn and some skills to build to be able to successfully put your business in place.
If you can drive, you know what I am talking about. Until you sat on the driver’s seat, learned how to move the car and drive it, it seemed very complicated. But once you understood how it can be done and you practiced it, it became easier.
The same is with mathematics. At first sight, it looks very complicated. But when you understand the principles and the rules of solving problems, it becomes easy.
Business is no different.
It looks like it is very risky and probably you were taught that you cannot have control over this risk. It is somehow true, but there are ways to minimize risk and these ways can be learned.
It also seems that business is dealing with a lot of concepts that sound like foreign languages: marketing, finance, business operations, return on investment, cash flow, profit and loss account, advertising, and many others. It is also true, but there is nothing a person who knows reading and writing could not learn.
I’m not saying that it is easy and that it doesn’t take time and effort to learn.
In a way, entrepreneurs are special people. In general, they are not the best students. Some of them are even college dropouts.
What they have special is their drive to succeed and the courage to embark in new projects. They are innovative and passionate and believe in their goals.
Their motivation comes from their willingness to make a difference and to live with a purpose.
If you want to be like they are, you don’t have anything else to do than to get inspiration from them, learn and work to build your business.
