Let me clarify this - Article Marketing is not a job in the sense that I have an employer, but since I have to work at it to make money, it does sort of meet the definition of a job.
How does it pay?
For a good while it paid nothing. Absolutely nada. I bought into two or three of those things you see online that "guarantee" that your internet marketing dreams will come true and you have found the secret the experts have been hiding from you. Not so much. That was money swirling down the drain. I have no further use for those "shiny things" as one lady put it, and my article marketing business is doing just fine.
How much are you making now?
If I show you what I am making now from Affiliate Marketing, you might get all excited and jump in, then not make any money immediately, get mad at me, and quit. You would assume I either scammed you or withheld some important information from you. It is not about what I make anyway. You can probably make more money faster than I have. I am kind of a late bloomer that way. A lot of people make money within their first couple of weeks. Not me. I was over two months in before I got my first sale. They come easier after that. The process guarantees the income will snowball over time if you keep on putting in the work. The question between me and you at this point is, are you willing to be trainable and put in the work (this is my third article tonight).
How long does it usually take to make good money doing this?
I don't know on the average, but once again, averages don't make any difference. I do know of a lady making huge money on the net who said, "Do for a year what others will not do. Do for the rest of your life what others CAN not do." I think that pretty well sums it up. If you put in an unreasonable amount of work over an unreasonable period of time, you will make an unreasonable amount of money if you were trainable and did as you were instructed.
How much does it cost to get into this?
Do you already have a computer? Do you already have an Internet Service Provider? You already have most of what you need. Domains cost from $1.99 up. Submitting articles to websites that post articles submitted costs nothing, but you do need to watch their rules and abide by them. Break the rules and they don't publish - that simple. Getting in touch with businesses that pay you for bringing them a paying client in the form of a percentage of the purchase or a lead fee - priceless, er, it's free at Clickbank (kind of got carried away).
The bottom line here is that it is primarily up to you. I do recommend you get some training and meet others online who are doing this. That will be a great encouragement to you, especially when you are tired of working so hard and not getting any money (right before the dam breaks, in many cases). This is your life and I hope this becomes the job 4 you, too.
