Job Insecure? Get Another Income

Your employer has a lot of choices these days, right? With the unemployment rate what it is, it's an employer's market. If someone has a job to offer, there is a job seeker that is willing to work it, even if it means making less than the industry standard, because it certainly beats unemployment and food stamps. If you are reading this and your situation includes unemployment and food stamps, the following information applies to you, too.

Is This Another Scam?

If I were offering a scam, what would I say? I will say this about it: you will not be roped into anything, you really can make money online without investing a cent that is not made from the Internet, and there is a huge amount of money available to be made from the Internet. That said, just like anything else, it takes work. If you put in the work, though, you have a good chance to make your job unnecessary. Here is the short form: you can write articles and submit them to sites that want them, and get paid for them. I have reviewed three different sites that make that option available. Since that option is so simple, I will spend a little more time on how to use that money to your longer term advantage.

If I can make money from articles, why do I need to do something else?

You can make a modest living, I am sure, by writing articles and web site content if you are pretty good at it and have no problem putting in the work. What I don't like about jobs is that when you do the work and get paid for it, you have given up that much life for that much money and you get nothing more for it. Why not invest your time so that it continues to produce? Are you familiar with farming? When a farmer plants his field, he does not intend to get his seed back only, wash, rinse and repeat. He'd starve. Although many farmers plant anew each year, for centuries, farmers or orchard tenders would plant, tend, and expect to have a crop that renews annually.

The Internet has a property that when you put something up on the Internet, it tends to stay there. You can use that to your advantage. I heard recently that there are over 14 billion web pages out there, so getting your work into a prime position will take a little some work and savvy, but quality work tends to rise in rankings more naturally and with less effort.

What is this investment vehicle?

You can make money online through affiliate marketing from one side or the other of the desk. This means you can either be a marketer for someone else's products or services or you can offer your products or services for marketers to market. There is much to learn to be a successful affiliate marketer, but if you are patient and actually do the work, you will learn faster than if you simply study and try to wait until you know enough. If instead you have a product already that you would like to market through the Internet, I can tell you a couple of things and point you in a direction. You can go to one of several dot coms including Clickbank, Commission Junction, and Shareasale, and check out their TOS to see which network provides you the best fit. Using such a network brings eager marketers to you with the expectation of commissions or lead fees for successful marketing efforts. They are Internet savvy and can reach customers you would otherwise never reach.

I hope these suggestions have provided a useful course for you to free yourself from the artificial restraints of a job. Knowledge may be power, but it is still useless unless it is put into action.
